Good News!

This week has brought our family 3 pieces of much anticipated good news...
  1. We received official word that Alex has been accepted into the International School of Belgrade
  2. Today the Department approved the Ambassador's recommendation that all embassy personnel should return to Belgrade. In other words, yes, we will be going to Serbia together as a family in July! Wahoo!
  3. In the State Department, one must be like a rabid dog when it comes to arranging anything pertaining to a move. Every HR person will try and give a different answer to the same question -- it's exasperating. So, thanks to Jeff's rabid dogness, we have a tentative packout date of July 10th AND WE CAN MAKE AN HHE SHIPMENT!!! This means that instead of the 700 lbs of things that we thought we'd be able to ship from DC, we can now ship 3,000 lbs of stuff. Bunk beds, play houses, and filing cabinets, oh my! (I'm pretty excited about this, if you can't tell.)

Hooray! What great news. It is such an amazing thing to be part of S Eastern Europe. They are having such growing pains, but to think that hopefully your family will be part of a solution. What a great blessing you will be to the ward or branch there!
